She began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in London City but life as a banker did not satisfy her creativity. She therefore decided to go to New York to attend an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with a specialization in Business of Technology, Media and Entertainment, where she discovered not only her love for independent cinema, but also for the world of technology and startups.
After graduating she moved to San Francisco in the heart of the Silicon Valley and at Credit Suisse helped many startups through the IPO process. Ready for another adventure, Benedetta goes to live in Malaysia to work in the Operations of one of rising e-commerce stratups of Rocket Internet, which was rapidly expanding across Southeast Asia.
Enriched with a number of diverse experiences, Benedetta decides to return, after almost ten years, to her beloved Italy to work as General Manager of Uber, with the aim of creating an innovative ecosystem in her own country of origin. She now also holds a Regional role for Europe, helping expand the brand across all major European cities.
