Elvira Berlingieri is a lawyer and a mediator specialized in social media law, digital freedom, copyright and open content, privacy, e-learning, digital media management and business strategies that involve digital innovation.
She is adjunct professor at the university of Florence, counselor and advisor for several projects on open digital media with Regione Toscana, freelance professional and independent scholar. As a keen advocate of the power of shared knowledge, she believes in the popularization of the issues resulting from the clash of law and digital technologies to raise people’s awareness towards their rights and the values at stake. She regularly lectures on this matter and is the author of several scientific articles and chapters.
